The last couple of months have been fairly dramatic for Jenna Dewan.
Back in October, Jenna finally broke her silence on her split from Channing Tatum with the release of her book.
In the book, Jenna revealed that she’d decided to seek a divorce from Channing after realising the “dynamic” of their relationship was “damaging” to her and their 6-year-old daughter, Everly.
She went on to say that she felt “blindsided” by the news of Channing’s relationship with British singer Jessie J. Jenna claimed that she hadn’t been given any prior warning about the romance and read the news online while alone on a plane.
Jenna also admitted that she’d initially wanted to “fight back” with a series of tweets, but ultimately decided against posting them for the sake of their daughter.
Days after the excerpts from Jenna’s book went viral, Channing appeared to respond by doubling down on his relationship with Jessie J. The famously private couple broke tradition by sharing brand new photos of themselves together on social media.
Then, just a few weeks later, reports emerged that Channing and Jenna were officially divorced.
On that same day, Jenna — who’s currently pregnant with her second child — shared an Instagram post with a caption revealing she now felt “happy” in every aspect of her life.
Well, yesterday marked Jenna’s 39th birthday. And her new boyfriend and future baby daddy, Steve Kazee, has marked the occasion with an Instagram post that appears to make reference to all the recent drama.
“This woman,” he wrote alongside a photo of Jenna stroking her baby bump. “What an indelible mark she has placed on my heart.”
Steve went on to describe that her special day had been full of “many little life moments”, including “dropping off the kiddo at school, baby doc appointment, nursery planning, and moving into our new home”.
“Through it all I love catching eyes with her and knowing that she is the person I will be spending the rest of my life with,” he continued.
And Steve concluded the post by writing: “I couldn’t be more grateful that she was put on this earth and that we found each other through all the noise. I love you Jenna and I hope you have the happiest of birthdays!”
It seems that Jenna appreciated the post, responding with a comment reading: “Oh my heart.”
The cute post echoes some of the sentiments in Jenna’s own message for Steve on his birthday in October — just a week after her book was released.
“The world became a better place the day you were born,” she wrote in her caption. “Your strength, gentleness, humor and caring beautiful soul touches everyone who knows you. am the luckiest girl in the world to love you and be loved by you.”
Looks like the drama hasn’t fazed these two at all. ❤️
